The Cambria County Regional Firefighter’s Association in partnership with Bucks County Community College is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Leadership Development Academy. Students in this program will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the critical skills that are necessary to develop and support successful leadership in their fire organization. The course will strengthen the idea that effective leadership in today’s fire service involves more than just tactics.

By partaking in lectures, assessments, and skill-building activities students will gain an understanding of their own personal leadership assets and liabilities.

Throughout the course, students will gain an understanding of the most important skills associated with leadership based on sound research. The course will consist of 8 related leadership topics presented by highly regarded professionals.

This year we are using a new format. Classes will be held on Monday through Thursday evenings beginning March 3rd through March 6th, 2025. Each evening will have two programs. Classes will be held from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and then 8 pm until 9 pm. Classes will be held in a platform called Canvas, you will receive information on how to log in before the first day of the program. Classes will also be recorded and placed in the Canvas Platform but must be completed within two weeks of the original presentation to be eligible for a certificate.
If you previously enrolled in past programs but did not attend you may be withheld from this training program.

The course will be limited to the first 150 registrations.
